“THE TIME HAS
COME FOR JUDGMENT TO BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD..” 1 PETER 4:17
First, I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who
John and I have met and communicated with throughout the campaign. We want to
thank you for your care and support. We have met so many wonderful folks,
sharing the same heart for Godly government. We especially appreciate all your
prayers throughout this campaign. Thank you also for your prayers and support
through an unexpected emergency surgery and recovery. God is faithful and He is
bringing me through and I am humbled by so many people who have demonstrated
their love and concern for John and for me. We know how difficult campaigning
can be and how physically and emotionally taxing it is. John and I want to
thank each candidate in both political parties for their individual convictions
and efforts to make this nation a better place to fulfill God’s plan of
life. We are praying that God’s purposes
will be accomplished at the end of the U.S. Senatorial race. We also want to
send well wishes to every Congressional Candidate and to all others who are
working so hard to seek public office locally, statewide and nationally.
But now, at the end of this race, I am compelled to share
my convictions with Christians everywhere. What will it require for the
children of God to finally wake up and realize that if we do not send God’s
voice to Washington, there will be a judgment and it will begin with the house
of God in these United States? I am shockingly and grievously astounded by
the hardness of heart and deafness of ears and blindness of eyes of so many
“Believers” and their election choices in this Republican United States
Senatorial race. God has revealed to me, over the course of the past 15 years,
that this very lethargy and apathy is influenced by the infiltration and
influence of “the world and its ways”, its power and money. These worldly
forces rule and control the hearts and souls and lives of hundreds of thousands
of Believers, Christian Ministries and Churches. Yes, you are hearing me
correctly and I will not apologize for this truth! Ministries and Churches, as
well as many Christians, have fallen to such ploys of the evil one. The point is that satan (and satan
does not deserve to have his name capitalized!)
has poured profound fear and “the sense of entitlement” into the
hearts and minds of many Christians, Christian Ministries and Christian Churches,
to the point that many Believers, Ministries and Churches will not fully lay
down their lives for Christ, if it requires sacrificing their possessions and
positions and powers. VOTING IS MOTIVATED BY WHAT ONE MAY POSSIBLY GAIN OR
LOSE, AND NOT WHAT GOD’S WILL MAY BE. Many Ministries and Churches “hide”
behind Federal Regulation excuses to avoid being bold enough to point out the
full Truth that stands before the very eyes of their souls. Many organizations
have also created on and off line “gatekeepers” and “moats” to protect and
guard themselves from the penetration of the full truth and Gospel of Jesus
Christ. How much longer will God tolerate this “watered-down” and “self-
serving” Christianity that permeates our nation today?
I am also sadly astounded by the lethargy and laziness of
many Believers, Christian Ministries and Churches who continue to allow the
majority media outlets, their editors and their reporters across Kentucky and
the nation, to influence and control the Christians’ voting choices, INSTEAD
of seeking God’s face for His choices. WAKE UP CHRISTIANS BEFORE IT IS
TOO LATE!!! It has never been more crucial of a time for Christians to
FULLY UNDERSTAND that this world is not our home! The prince of darkness
is using media outlets, editors and reporters to control political races,
making choices for the general public, disregarding every filed candidate
because “these candidates do not meet the media criteria”. When will you realize that media is not of
God and will not show fairness or righteousness to every candidate? If you
doubt what I am saying then let me encourage you to view last evening’s
Republican U.S. Senate Candidate KET debate hosted by Bill Goodman. (SEE LINK.)
This is a classic example of elitism, arrogance and control of media outlets
who have decided who the “real candidates” will be and disregard any other
candidate. Let me assure you, media will not, do you hear me, will not
endorse or report on any Christian candidate that is running through the power
of God. Why do you think John Stephenson is not being mentioned or his
campaign covered by media across the state of Kentucky as are other candidates?
Millions of dollars, Washington influences, and “the right sound bytes” are the
answer. The John Stephenson Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate campaign
embodies the truth of God for our nation to return to God for confession of sin
for our allowing abortion to go on for too devastatingly long and for
forgiveness and for restoration and for healing of our nation. This is only
going to come through God and Godly principles. Ninety-Nine Percent of Media
outlets refuse to print this or cover this campaign. IF YOU ARE A TRUE
CHRISTIAN, PLEASE, WAKE UP before it is too late!!!
I am astounded that so many Believers cannot see that the
United States of America is going to continue to spiral downward and falter and
suffer and pull further away from God and Godly principles until the voice of
God is COMPLETELY SILENCED in our
country! UNLESS we try to return God
to the throne in America, there is no hope for our nation. America will not return to God until we, as
the people of God, send someone to Washington who is willing and
obedient to carry the voice and Word of God to the halls of the Senate. John is
not afraid to speak the truth in love, through God. Before it is too late, we need a bold
voice in Washington who will demand, as his first Senatorial act, to introduce,
through the power of God, and to push through, a Human Right to Life Amendment.
Christians, please, I beseech you, stop voting for candidates based on
political parties, endorsements and the influence of media outlets. Media
outlets will not report the truth of God and Media outlets will continue to
block any man or woman of God. If you cannot see this now, you will one day,
when judgment comes upon you. “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it
is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes..” Romans
1:16. My friends in Christ, we are
called to not to be ashamed of the Gospel and yet, by so many Christians, there
is such “discomfort” and heads are buried in the sand. Don’t be ashamed!
This is my final installment
before Election Day, May 18, 2010. Please give heed, not to me, but to the
Words of God:

the time will come, when men will not put up with sound doctrines. Instead, to
suit their own desires, they gather around them a great number of teachers to
say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from
the Truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations,
endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of
your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:3-5

us in this manner, as servants of Christ…In this case, moreover, it is

LORD, RATHER THAN FOR MEN….IT IS THE LORD CHRIST WHOM YOU SERVE.” Colossians

BETTER TO TAKE REFUGE IN THE LORD THAN TO TRUST IN MAN. IT IS BETTER TO TAKE
REFUGE IN THE LORD THEN TO TRUST IN PRINCES.” Psalm 118:8-9
My final words of encouragement to each of you are the
following: When you enter the voting
booth on May 18th, please ASK GOD WHO HE WANTS YOU TO VOTE FOR, not a decision
based on impressions or feelings or influences. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN
UNDERSTANDING. In ALL YOUR WAYS, ACKNOWLEDGE GOD, AND THEN HE WILL MAKE YOUR
PATHWAY STRAIGHT.” Proverbs 3:5-6 . Several years ago, God spoke to my heart the
following Scripture for John and for me: “But
God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak
things of the world to shame the strong.” 1 Corth. 1:27. John and I have been “seen by the world” as
foolish and weak. But let me you assure you, we love the Lord our God with all
our hearts, with all our souls, with all our minds and with all our spirits.
God, through Christ, is our strength. We will happily look foolish and weak and
we will happily continue to be rejected and ridiculed for the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Will you???
